| Biography |

Joyce Haven has been a
life-long artisan whose passion for color pre-dates her first box of
crayons. Her love of Art, History, and Design has come together in the
centuries-old practice of faux finish and decorative art. For her, each
new project is an exciting chance to collaborate with the client to
enhance their living environment and express their creativity.
![]() Joyce graduated summa cum
laude with a degree in Pre and Early Modern Studies from the University
of California, Santa Cruz, and holds a certificate in Interior Design.
She spent ten years mounting exhibits, lecturing, and planning events
as a Costume and Textile Curator at the Pajaro Valley Historical
Association’s Bockius-Orr Museum in Watsonville, California. She has
trained extensively with Tina Martinez at Furniture Art Studio in
Monterey, California and studied with Shauna Gallagher at Artistic
Living Studio in Sacramento.
